This section of the book comprises an explanation of the BPM implementation framework, its various phases and steps, and how to use it in the successful implementation of BPM projects.
Chapter 11 describes the framework, the ten phases and three components considered to be essential to any BPM project.
Chapter 12 explains how the framework can be used, describing two typical ways in which BPM projects are initiated and the resulting four implementation scenarios usually selected by an organization.
Chapters 13 22 then explain each of the ten phases in detail, while Chapter 23 introduces the essentials, which are in turn described in Chapters 24 26.
An important aspect in the use of the framework is that while the phases are shown sequentially and typically follow the order indicated, this is not always the case.
