performs well.

Some examples of high performance teams are:
orchestras, television, theatre, opera and dance company teams
radio, television and newspaper journalist teams
hospital, fire brigade, paramedic and police teams.
Each of these teams are closely aligned towards achieving a very specific objective such as, for example:
broadcast the news at 10 p.m.
publish a 32-page newspaper every day, Monday to Friday
perform Madam Butterfly to a live audience every night for a week
resuscitate an unconscious patient
put out a fire.
