TABLE OF CONTENTS It was just another day, not much unlike the other days and nights before it. While most people were at home with their families, Joe just sat at his desk with his head in his hands. He felt like pulling out all his hair, that is if he still had any left, he was down to his last nerve.
At 4:30 the project manager had walked into Joe's office and asked him to provide an estimate for some new work they were pursuing to revamp an old database on the POLMO system for a 10:00 meeting. As excited as Joe was to, finally, be able to bring this antiquated system into the 21 st century, the task he had been assigned was impossible. He was trying to figure out what to do with the information he was given and how to compensate for the information he was not given.
