Joe sat at the table waiting for the waitress to bring his Coke while he shot the breeze with some coworkers, more relaxed than he had been in months. Uncle Tony's Pizzeria seemed like a great retreat from his cramped office.

As the waitress finished taking their order and was walking back to the kitchen, Joe saw the bright red door open and recognized his buddy Mark.

About that same time, Mark spots Joe as he is scoping out the tables for a place for he and his friends to sit. Hey Mark,' Joe says, greeting his friend and coworker.

They let you out of that padded cell for lunch, huh?' Mark laughed, walking over to where Joe was sitting.

Yeah, you too!,' Joe says, getting up to shake Mark's hand.

Yes, it's actually getting to be a pretty nice habit now,' Mark answers, noticing his friend waiting. He introduces her to Joe as a newbie and asks her to find them a table for six since they have more folks from the office joining them, before saying to Joe, Can you believe, I was able to schedule a vacation next month? Sunny beaches here I come! The wife says she'll believe it when she sees it, we have not been able to have a vacation in years.'

Wow, that is cool, we're definitely seeing some changes around there lately,'...
