4.11 Conclusions

Every system has both advantages and disadvantages. An OFDM system is robust to frequency selective fading, narrowband interference, and impulsive man-made noises; on the other hand, it is also very sensitive to frequency offset and nonlinear amplification. This chapter discussed the pros and cons of an OFDM system in great detail.
