Successfully Utilizing CMMS/EAM Systems

The system must include the ability to maintain a reference file of information on equipment, buildings, vehicles and other maintained items. In addition to static reference data, the equipment/facility catalog should also collect dynamic information related to the maintained item such as preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance information as well complete cost histories.
The equipment/facility catalog must include the following information: equipment/facility ID number, equipment/facility description, location information, assigned cost center, manufacturer, model number, manufacturer serial number, and equipment priority. Vendors without existing software systems that meet these requirements should not respond to this section.

Users must be able to locate equipment/facility records without knowing the equipment/facility ID number. The following search criteria should be supported:
Parent ID number
Keyword description (e.g. "lathe" or "building") and associated qualifiers (e.g. "turret" or "no. 4")
"Sounds like" query
Wild card searches (starts with etc.)
Equipment/facility type (e.g. "digester" or "academic")
Stock number
Cost center
Area code or building number
WO number
After the initial search has been conducted, the user should be able to sort the database by three auxiliary qualifiers:
