Essential Rubber Formulary: Formulas for Practitioners

Molded rubber components for the automotive industry have a very high market potential. These components are used in both original equipment manufacture and replacement markets. They are made from natural and synthetic rubbers. They are made strictly as per the Society of Automotive Engineers or other international specifications. Some formulations are given below. These formulations can be used for industrial molded rubber components such as washers, gaskets, bushes, diaphragms, and stoppers. Formulations for car mats, flaps, and tubes are also given. Since auto rubber components are generally required to conform to physical property requirements, these details are also given along with the formulations.
