Model AcuDew is reliable and accurate. Various dewpoint ranges are available covering an overall range of -120 °C to +20 °C (-184 °F to +68 °F) dew point and an overall system accuracy of ± 2 °C (± 3.4 °F). The output is configurable to display in °C dewpoint, °F dewpoint, ppm(v), ppb(v), g/m³ and lb/MMSCF.

Incorporating the unique AutoCal function, designed by Shaw Moisture Meters, which allows users to ensure accuracy between laboratory calibrations by checking the span of the hygrometer and correcting for any deviation. AutoCal can be carried out in situ and without the need for any special equipment. Each SHAW dewpoint sensor is precisely manufactured to saturate with water vapour at its design maximum. When the sensor is exposed to moisture above its maximum operating range, it will come into equilibrium and cease to respond to any further increase in moisture. This forms the basis of AutoCal.

There are several key benefits of AutoCal: reduce downtime and lessen interruption of process lines, minimize calibration costs when checking the span of the hygrometer yourself to ensure accuracy between annual laboratory calibrations, achieve immediate verification of the dewpoint system and ensure the optimum measurement accuracy between laboratory calibrations.

This high-performance dew point transmitter can cope with extreme environmental conditions, offering protection to IP66 NEMA 4X and the rugged construction of the transmitter has been tested to withstand 35,000 kilopascal or 350 bar maximum pressure. The transmitter electrical connections are made via the secure M12 5 pin cable connector.

Reliable and accurate, the AcuDew dewpoint transmitter is easy to install and easy to operate. Requiring little or no maintenance, it can be located at significant distances, up to 1,000 metres/3,280 feet, from the data collection point without any loss of signal.

AcuDew is compatible with three dedicated displays: AcuLoop, AcuVu and AcuTrak. AcuLoop, a four-digit LED plug in display, robust, loop powered and fully programmable to correspond to the dewpoint range of the AcuDew dewpoint transmitter. AcuVu single channel moisture analyser with two independent alarm relays with LED indicators, adjustable signal retransmission and universal power supply. The AcuTrak single channel moisture analyser has the features and functionalities of the AcuVu plus integrated digital communications, onboard pressure dewpoint calculations including data for Natural Gas and molecular mass preloaded for ppm(w).
