The angularly dispersed first order beams are collimated using an achromatic doublet ( Melles Griot 06 LAI007) upon the measurement mirror. The beams are reflected back from the measurement mirror and then re-trace their path back to the grating where they interfere with the returning zero order beam and are incident upon the GRIN lens afterwhich they re-enter the fibre.
