Evaluation of a New High‐Pressure Dispersion Unit (HPN) for Emulsification
Karbstein worked with a high- pressure homogenizer fitted with a simple poppet valve , whereas Stang applied the interaction chamber (IXC) of a microfluidizer, a jet disperser and a nozzle with an orifice of 0.5 mm (nozzle 0.5). Results by Stang with the above- mentioned apparatus do not show any significant differences in dispersion quality.
