Security Education, Awareness and Training: From Theory to Practice

The following appendixes provide a wealth of materials that may be used in developing security presentations and included in organizational newsletters. Many of the items can be further broken down into handouts, pamphlets, and the like and may be used as a handout in a given security presentation or provided as one of many security awareness products that are of great information value to your employees.
Use these materials as you will. They are from open sources, and those from government organizations have been authorized for public release, so feel free to fit them into your security education program. The reader may go to the Defense Security Service Agency Web site and look up many of these materials that can be downloaded directly for your use.
Additionally, as an initial appendix the authors have also included a short discussion of focus groups. This may seem a strange topic area, but like with large businesses, you create a variety of security-related products for employees of the organization.
