Configuring Citrix MetaFrame XP for Windows Including Feature Release 1

Implementing Citrix MetaFrame XP in a server farm configuration is a departure from conventional networking. After installation, a server requires further configuration before applications can be launched. Depending on how granular an environment needs to be, you can employ different approaches to configuration.
For Citrix MetaFrame XP, sessions must be created and configured prior to anyone using the new system. The session represents the logical connection that a client makes with the server. A user can invoke multiple sessions, each launching a separate application. Alternatively, a user can invoke a single session that launches an entire desktop. In general, it is best to create sessions with options that meet generic needs, because these sessions are usually available to any user at any time.
