The last phase in the TPS cycle involves reviewing the scorecards, updating them based on changing circumstances; identification of improvement possibilities; and documentation of the lessons learned. These learning aspects in the TPS cycle will be discussed in detail in this chapter. They are related to David Kolb's learning cycle (1984), which is part of the knowledge and learning perspective (see Figure 7.1). I will discuss individual as well as collective learning, and how, based on this, organizational learning capacity can be increased. For this purpose a knowledge management audit is introduced to measure this ability and to develop a sustainable learning organization.
