Appendix A: Table of Erlang B

The following table specifies the number of channels required for a given blocking probability and traffic demand.

In order to determine the required number of channels for a given blocking probability, select the column corresponding to the blocking probability in question. Within that column, find the Erlang value that provides the closest match to the required Erlang value. The leftmost column of the same row provides the required number of channels.
