Radar System Analysis and Modeling

This program calculates the rms aperture widths ? S and ? ? for different aperture illumination functions and derives the measurement slope constants. Analytic approximations for the slope constant are given for rectangular and elliptical apertures.
This program calculates in Sections 1 5 the errors due to thermal noise and target scintillation for a conical-scan tracking radar in the normal two-way (echo) and the one-way (beacon) tracking modes. The thermal noise and scintillation errors are calculated for a variable servo bandwidth that includes the effect of detector loss for small snr. In Sections 6 9 the other sources of error are modeled using simple approximations, and the total tracking error is calculated as a function of target range.
