Description
Double Wall Shrink Tubing is designed to provide a protective covering for wires and cables. It consists of two layers: an outer layer made of polyolefin heat shrink material and an inner layer of adhesive. This tubing is engineered to encapsulate and seal the components it covers, offering a moisture-resistant barrier.
Working Principle
Double Wall Shrink Tubing works by utilizing heat to activate its dual-layer structure. When heated, the outer polyolefin layer shrinks to fit tightly around the wire or cable, while the inner adhesive layer melts and flows to bond with the underlying material.
