Dustproof Rotary Switches
Description
Dustproof rotary switches are designed to resist the infiltration of dust, which could otherwise interfere with the switch's operation. These switches feature a rotating spindle with rotors that have arms projecting outward. Each arm can make contact with a terminal when the switch is in a specific position, allowing for multiple circuit connections depending on the number of rotors.
Working Principle

This mechanism involves a wheel with notches or grooves attached to the rotor, and a spring-loaded ball bearing or piece of spring steel that presses into the groove to hold the switch in place.
