Description
Surface Mount (SMT / SMD) Potentiometers, Rheostats, and Trimmers are electronic components used to adjust resistance within a circuit. Potentiometers are variable resistors that allow users to change the resistance by adjusting a knob or dial, effectively controlling circuit potential levels. Rheostats are similar but typically function as strict variable resistors with two terminals. Working Principle
