After Effects in Production: A Companion for Creating Motion Graphics

Requirements:
After Effects 5.0 Production Bundle (required for Vector Paint effect); all other aspects of the tutorial could be completed with the 5.0 Standard version.
Getting Started:
* Be sure to install the Lens Blur effect from The Foundry (www.thefoundry.co.uk), included on the accompanying CD in the Free Plug-ins folder.
Inside the Tutorials master folder on the accompanying CD, locate and copy the folder 03_HotCool to your hard drive.
In the folder Final Movie inside this main folder, double-click and play HotCool.mov.
Inside the Project folder you ll find the finished After Effects project file HotCool_5PB.aep. Open the project file this is your starting point. We suggest you save under a new name after each major section.
(Note: If you don t have the Production Bundle, the Vector Paint effect will simply be removed from the project; you can still use this project to complete the other tasks.)
