Lubrication for Industry, Second Edition

Industrial lubricants are rarely environmentally friendly, and when treated with disrespect, can in many cases be harmful to humans. The lubricant manufacturer is now obliged to disclose exactly what is in the lubricant, describe in what way can it be harmful, and provide instructions on how to proceed medically for all levels of physical contact with the lubricant and how to safely handle and store the product. All lubricants and chemicals in the plant must have an MSDS information sheet, If any information is unclear, contact the lubricant for clarification.
MSDS sheets allow us to develop a health and safety strategy for the maintenance department, and are broken down into nine (9) sections.
