This section deals with methods for working with image in a comparative analysis workflow. Frequently, an image may not natively show all of the detail that it contains. Clarifying this detail can improve the way in which the image is displayed and make analysis more effective.

The techniques in this section include methods for precise sizing of an image and for measuring objects in an image. We'll look at most of the adjustments you'll typically need to make changes to color, blur, and even image defects such as lens barrel distortion and at printing.
