This section presents the pinout configuration of some commonly used integrated circuits of 4000 series for ready reference. These may be helpful for logic designers. The pin configurations given here are for DIP packages only. Designers must refer to the data books of the manufacturers for other types of packages like SMD (Surface Mount Devices), etc.
