Following is a list of films, all but the first by the National Committee for Fluid Mechanics Films (NCFMF), founded in 1961 by the late Ascher H. Shapiro, then Professor of Mechanical Engineering at M.I.T. Descriptive text for the films was published separately as described below.

Although these films are decades old, they remain excellent visualizations of the principles of fluid mechanics.
