Related Party Disclosures

The disclosure requirements of international GAAP are less demanding than the UK equivalent, and it is noteworthy that the former does not specifically require the identification of the related party. However, in practice this information will often be required if users of the financial statements are to understand the significance of the relationship (Box 9.1).
