The NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) circuit shown in Figure 2.3 uses a voltage divider bias circuit. Find the voltage drop across the transistor using ? = 30 and V be = 0.7 volts. Assume that the transistor is not in saturation.

V CE = 15 ? 1 10 ?3(5.570 10 3) = 15 ? 5.57 = 9.43 volts
