Adapter | Adapters are fittings designed to connect different types of pipe together (material, cross-sectional shape, etc.). | ||
Bulkhead Fitting | Bulkhead fittings are designed to mount on to a wall or bulkhead and to allow a pipe connection on either side of barrier. | ||
Cap | Caps are designed to attach on over the outside of a pipe end to dead-end the flow. Attachment techniques include welding, brazing, adhesives, and threads, depending on application and material. | ||

Outlet Box | An outlet box contains and protects electrical outlets at the end of a run of wire or cable. | ||
Plug | Plugs are designed for insertion into a conduit end to dead-end the run. | ||
Pull / Junction Box | Pull boxes are used at junctions where two runs of conduit meet, and serve as a way to reduce strain on the wire between successive pulls. | ||
Pull Elbow | Similar to a pull box, pull elbows are covered with a removable plate or lid for access for pulling wire through. | ||
Reducer | A reducer is a fitting with different size ends to mate conduit of different diameter. Concentric reducers join conduit runs on the same axis. | ||
Setscrew Connector | The connector uses a setscrew to attach to conduit. | ||
Squeeze Clamp Connector | A clamp is used to hold on to conduit diameter. | ||
Sweep | Sweeps are bends, typically 90° that curve more gradually than a tight-radius elbow. See the Size selection below for specifying desired sweep radius. | ||
Tee | Three-port fitting in the shape of a "T". Standard configuration indicates that the straight-through path (typically called the "run") and the perpendicular section ("branch") all have the same size ports. | ||
U / Return | Most commonly in a 180° "U" shape. These fittings can be used to reverse conduit direction. | ||
Wye | Three-port fitting in the general shape of the letter "Y" or in which a branch departs the run at an angle other than 90°. The designation "standard" refers to the three outlets being the same size. | ||
