General Specifications
   Terminal Type
   Your choices are...
Battery Terminal       Battery terminals are used to connect a battery to live wires.
Bullet Terminal       Bullet terminals are a type of wire terminal with one metal end that resembles a bullet. This metal part is where the wire is inserted and crimped.
Butt Terminal       Type of wire terminal that is built with two tube-like ends.
Connector Pin       A pin that is used to make electrical contact as part of a connector.
Connector Socket       A socket that is used to make electrical contact as part of a connector.
Ferrule Terminal       Ferrules are cylindrically shaped copper tubes crimped to the ends of stranded wire to create a secure, reliable connection.
Fork / Spade Terminal       Type of wire terminal that is attached by mean of a fork- or spade-like termination.
Pin Terminal       Pin terminals have the active end similar to a pin.
Push On Terminal       Type of wire terminal that connects the wire by inserting it into the terminal.
Ring Terminal       Type of wire terminal that are attached by a screw through a hole (ring).
Wire Connector       A wire connector is used to join (nearly splice) electrical wires.
Wire Lug       Wire lugs are terminals made of copper or other conductors that can conduct current. Normal wire terminals are made of non-conducting material, and therefore do not conduct electricity.
   Other       Other unlisted barrel type.

Conductor Size
North American (AWG)       American wire gauge (AWG) is a U.S. standard for non-ferrous wire conductor sizes. Non-ferrous materials include copper and aluminum. The term "gauge" refers to the wire's diameter. The higher the gauge number, the smaller the diameter and the thinner the wire. Thicker wires carry more current because it has less electrical resistance over a given length. Typical household wiring is AWG 12 or 14. Telephone wire is usually AWG 22, 24, or 26.
Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
AWG 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 or Larger       AWG 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0 are also referred to as 00, 000 and 0000, respectively. Sizes larger than 4/0 are measured in circular mils (CM) or thousand circular mils (MCM).
Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
International (mm2)       Outside of North America, wire conductor sizes are measured in square millimeters (mm2).
Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.

RoHS       Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) is a European Union (EU) directive that requires all manufacturers of electronic and electrical equipment sold in Europe to demonstraamerite that their products contain only minimal levels of the following hazardous substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl and polybrominated diphenyl ether. RoHS will become effective on July 1, 2006.
Insulated       The terminal is insulated for safety.
Heat Shrink Type       The terminal is heat shrinkable.
