Monitor Examples

In this section, I have included several different examples of interactive Monitor sessions. As we look at each illustration, I will offer some basic commentary.

Figure 8.1 shows a view of a five-VAX cluster. This particular Monitor display is valuable as a quick peak at how your cluster would be operating at any one point in time. In this particular snapshot, we see one of the machines in the CPU quadrant is busy 100 percent of the time, while the others vary from a low of 10 percent to a high of 60 percent.
