This appendix contains a sample business plan (without any appendices or schedule of capital expenditures) to demonstrate that a business plan not only is a requirement for all APQP endeavors (see AIAG publication on Advanced Product Quality Planning), but also provides the framework for the quality plan in any organization.

Quite often, a business plan may define parameters of operation and place constraints on timing, cost, and other resources. As a consequence, the AQP team should be familiar with the contents of a business plan.
