Civil Engineering License Review, Fifteenth Edition

Civil Engineering: License Review and its companion text, Civil Engineering: Problems and Solutions, form a two-part approach to preparing for the Principles and Practice of Civil Engineering exam:
Civil Engineering: License Review contains the review of civil engineering topics for the exam, solved examples, end-of-chapter problems that are representative of exam questions, and a sample exam. As with most textbooks, the solutions to the problems and the sample exam are not provided in the text. This is to ensure that the book can be used as one of your references during the actual open-book exam.
Civil Engineering: Problems and Solutions includes all of the end-of-chapter problems followed by step-by-step solutions. Similarly, the sample exam is included followed by a complete solution to every problem.
Use Civil Engineering: License Review to review the concepts, equations, and practical applications covered on the exam and to practice solving problems that are typical of the actual exam. Then use Civil Engineering: Problems and Solutions to check the accuracy of your answers and better understand the solution methods.
To achieve registration as a professional engineer there are four distinct steps: (1) education, (2) the Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer-In-Training (FE/EIT) exam, (3) professional experience, and (4) the professional engineer (PE) exam, more formally known as the Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam. These steps are described in the following sections.
The obvious appropriate education is a B.S. degree...
