Description
Sigma-Delta Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) chips are designed to convert analog signals into digital data. Working Principle
Sigma-Delta ADCs operate using a fundamentally different approach compared to other ADC architectures. They consist of an integrator, a comparator, and a single-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The process begins with the input signal being integrated and then compared to a reference signal. The comparator outputs a single-bit digital signal, which is fed back into the DAC. Advantages over other Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) Chips
