Generally, you want to consider working with other people to assist you when you use FAST. How often have you been so close to the subject you were analyzing that you couldn't see or consider what other people were seeing and considering? No matter how many times you ask yourself the same questions, you get the same answers. Read the following message and count the number of Fs:

I searched and searched and was sure that was wrong. Then I was informed that I was not considering the word "of" as I did my search. Sometimes the same type of thing happens when asking the Why-How Logic Questions; therefore, it is a good idea to have other people assist you whenever you use the FAST technique.
Every time you talk about or try to explain a certain point to someone else, you immediately realize that you understand that point just a little better.
