Provide detailed instructions on how this phase will be conducted and evaluated.
Provide sample data representative of your business so that the vendor can be prepared for the presentation and product demonstration (e.g., asset, inventory, vendor, specification, permit and user records, suggested reports).
Develop work-related scenarios that will cover the key areas of your company s business (follow the key business practices identified in your to be processes work management, materials management, capital projects, asset management, etc.).
Cross-reference each step in the workflow for the business processes with the functionality identified in the RFP. (It would be necessary to cover all of the mandatory items as well as the key desirable items.) Use a similar numbering scheme as in the RFP.
List the score and weight for each item. Provide a field for comments.
Allow the vendor adequate time to present how they will meet your expectations of a successful business partnership. (Again, as in (3) above, list the sore and weight for each item.)
Ensure that the vendor provides all hardware to be used in the presentation and demonstration (this includes bar-coding and mobile devices).
