Asset

Asset Management
the optimization of the life cycle of an asset to meet performance standards in a safe and environmentally sound manner through smart: Planning, Investment, Financing, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Refurbishment and Replacement
BOM (Bill Of Materials)
listing of spare parts needed to maintain the asset
BOH (Balance On Hand)
quantity of stock item in the warehouse, this is a dynamic number and changes based on inventory transactions
CCTV
Closed Circuit Television, used to inspect sewer lines etc.
CLAIR
Cleaning, Lubricating, Adjustment, Inspection and Repair type work done by operators in a Total Productive Operations environment
CRP (Conference Room Pilot)
software implementation phase dedicated to training of the core team, loading of test data, configuration and testing of the system
CWMS (Computerized Work Management System)
software used to execute work management and related transactions and at the same time store data needed to support work and cost history
EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management System)
same definition as CWMS but with an additional focus on functionality aimed at asset condition tracking and extending asset reliability
EDMS (Electronic Document Management System)
software used to electronically store and manage documents in a secure environment
