The Laser Guidebook

Beam Characteristics

Wavelength and Output Power. The wavelength and output power of dye lasers depend on the choice of dye and pump source, as well as on the design of the laser. Fundamental-frequency outputs range from about 310 to about 1200 nm. Table 17.2 lists a sampling of laser dyes and their outputs for various pump conditions.
