Leadership Training

In this chapter you will learn to facilitate two different half-day versions of the leadership material. The first version, with notes for the PowerPoint presentation, focuses on introducing training attendees to the competencies of Self-Alignment: Self-Understanding and Resiliency. I believe that these are the first competencies that must be addressed. Jumping into the Working with Others or Integration competencies will not be as successful without first doing the inner work of Self-Alignment.
That said, you might be asked to conduct a half-day programme focused on one specific competency after learners have attended the one- or two-day overview versions of the leadership workshop. There are instructions at the end of this chapter for customizing this kind of half-day learning event.
The objectives for the half-day leadership training workshop are to
acknowledge that personal values and leadership styles are unique and diverse
identify the 10 competencies of leadership
create an individual goal for leveraging participants own leadership strengths.
