Electric Circuits Fundamentals

CONCLUDING REMARKS

Looking back at the examples and exercises, we observe that finding the initial conditions for the response in terms of the initial conditions in the energy-storage elements can be a laborious process, especially if the circuit contains many such elements. We are interested in ways of expediting this process. In Chapter 16 we shall investigate a powerful analytical method known as the Laplace transform method, which takes the initial element conditions into account automatically.
