The table below presents conversion factors for common acoustical units to corresponding metric system units, often referred to as le Syst me Internationale d'Unit s (SI units). The basic SI units are expressed as follows: length by meter (abbreviated m), mass by kilogram (kg), time by second (s), and temperature by degree kelvin (K).
