Cache Array Routing Protocol
The established procedures of a cable TV system regarding the carrying of signals of local TV stations on its channels.
The average volume in a traffic system. Carried load equals offered load when all calls are served. Carried load is less than offered load when some calls are denied service.
That part of the traffic offered to a group of servers that successfully seizes a server. Carried traffic equals offered traffic less the overflow traffic.

Carrier controlled squelch is a process where the audio output of a radio receiver is muted until the reception of an incoming RF signal that is above a predetermined carrier signal strength level. Carrier controlled squelch allows a radio user to avoid listening to noise or weak interference signals of distant radio transmissions that occur on the same frequency.
