Panel Specifications

	Addressable - Detectors and Modules		Enter the number of detectors and modules that will be operated by the FACP. This is the same as the number of addressable devices.

	Conventional - Zones / Alarm Points		The number of zones or alarm points covered by the alarm or annunciator. Zones are groups of initiating devices wired on a common circuit. Each wiring circuit is used to relay information to the panel regarding the condition of the initiating devices, which can include smoke, heat, or fire detectors, manual pull stations or any circuit closure device.

	Modular System		Modular systems are a combination of alarm modules and special function modules that allow it to be customized or repaired by the user in the field.

	Outdoor Rated / Weatherproof		The device is designed to function normally in an outdoor environment. In varying degrees, the unit is resistant to sunlight, water, temperature, frost and ice, etc.

	Releasing Service		The release of water, chemicals, or other suppression substances capable of extinguishing fire.

	FM Approved		Factory Mutual (FM) approval.  The product has been tested by Factory Mutual Research, a not-for-profit scientific research and testing organization managed by FM Global. Manufacturers use Factory Mutual Research's independent third-party testing laboratory services to obtain approval certifying the reliability of their products and services.
	Other		Specific state, city, or other agency approvals.
