Guesstimate:: Until I keyed this word into my electronic spelling device, I d have lost a bet as to it being a legitimate word. But the device recognized it instantly, the word I think I invented, but probably so do a lot of other people. In definition I would guesstimate it s a hybrid concoction derived from guess and estimate.
Gut feeling:: Well, not literally. Events occur that heightens the awareness in the brain which can activate the worry mode within; maybe dump a little extra acid in your gastrointestinal plumbing system. Other subtle hints, too subtle to identify or depend on may bode well instead.
