Biomass. an erect annual dicotyledonous plant of the legume family, Glycine max, native to Asia and now widely cultivated in other parts of the world, valuable as a food crop and also as a source of biomass energy.

Electricity. 1. an electric charge resident in a cloud of electrons lying between a cathode and plate within an electron tube. 2. a region of electrical deficiency in the interior of a material that balances the concentration of electrons at the surface. 3. Earth Science. an excess of either negatively or positively charged ions in a layer of the atmosphere.

HVAC. a small, self-contained cooling device (typically a compact air conditioner) that is employed in a building to cool one specific room or area of a room, to substitute for (or reduce the operating cost of) central air conditioning.
