AEC Dimensions are designed for dimensioning plan View drawings such as floor and foundation plans. When you work in a project, dimensions are usually placed in View drawings because this drawing may consist of one or more Construct drawings to create the floor plan. If you place the dimensions in the View drawing, the Construct drawings can be used in the model without the obstructions of the dimensions.
