Chapter 12: Creating Elevations, Sections and Details

INTRODUCTION

This chapter includes the commands to extract elevations and sections from a building model and develop details. The use of the Project Navigator to create the building model and the callout tools used to create elevations and sections will be presented. The model is created as a View drawing in the Project Navigator by attaching each floor or building component as a construct. The Project Navigator provides for flexibility in design because it tracks changes that occur in Construct drawings and displays the latest version of a drawing in the model. Detail callouts, section marks and elevation marks are used to link callouts to sheet numbers.
