Description
Resistor chip arrays are components that house several resistors within a single package. These arrays are designed to provide multiple resistance values in a compact form, allowing for efficient use of space on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Working Principle
Resistor chip arrays work by integrating multiple resistors into a single package, which can be mounted onto a PCB using surface mount technology (SMT). This integration allows for high component density on the board, which is particularly useful in applications where space is limited. The resistors in the array can be used to control current flow, divide voltages, or perform other functions typical of standalone resistors. The use of chip arrays can enhance circuit stability and reduce noise, making them valuable in precision applications.
Applications
