Description
Potable water solenoid valves are devices designed to control the flow of potable water through a system. They operate by opening or closing in response to an electrical signal, allowing or stopping the flow of water as needed.
Working Principle
Solenoid valves function by using an electromagnetic coil to move a plunger or core. When the coil is energized, it creates a magnetic field that pulls the plunger, opening the valve and allowing water to flow through. When the coil is de-energized, a spring returns the plunger to its original position, closing the valve and stopping the flow. This mechanism allows for quick and precise control of water flow, making solenoid valves particularly useful in applications requiring rapid cycling and fail-safe operation .
