Drip-proof DC Motors
Description
Drip-proof DC motors are designed with ventilation openings that prevent drops of liquid or solid particles from entering the motor when falling from any angle within 15 degrees of vertical. This feature ensures that the motor can operate in environments where exposure to such elements is possible, providing a level of protection against potential damage from moisture or debris.
Working Principle
Drip-proof DC motors operate based on the interaction between the magnetic fields of the stator and rotor, which generates a rotational force. The left-hand rule can be used to determine the direction of this force.
