Aims of this chapter

  1. To introduce all the tools used for the construction of 3D solid models.

  2. To give examples of the construction of 3D solid models using all the tools from the Solids toolbar.

  3. To give examples of 2D outlines suitable as a basis for the construction of 3D solid models.

  4. To give examples of constructions involving the Boolean operators Union, Subtract and Intersect.
