Introduction to AutoCAD 2006 2D and 3D Design

The tools in the four toolbars containing the majority of the tools for constructing and rendering 3D solids and surfaces described in this book are shown in Fig. 13.1. When calling the tools from these four toolbars, the four same methods apply as are used when constructing 2D drawings:
A click on a tool icon in a toolbar brings the selected tool into action.
A click on the name of a tool from a drop-down menu brings the tool into action.
Entering the tool name at the command line in the command window, followed by pressing the Return button of the mouse or the Return key of the keyboard, brings the tool into action.
Some of the 3D tools have an abbreviation which can be entered at the command line instead of its full name.
