The Extrude tool

The Extrude tool can be called either, with a click on its tool icon in the Solids toolbar (Fig. 13.11), or by entering extrude or its abbreviation ext at the command line.

Extrude can also be called from the Draw drop-down menu click on Draw in the menu bar and when the Draw drop-down menu appears, click on Solids in the drop-down menu and again on Extrude in the sub-menu which then appears (Fig. 13.12).
